Big Time Gaming’s Outlaw slot might seem like just another Wild West game at first glance. And while it’s a western slot, Outlaw is also a hit song by The Cult band. This is actually BTG’s third experience with a Cult song, with Wild Flower and Lil’ Devil being the others.

As for The Cult, this English rock band has been entertaining crowds on and off again since 1983. It has released plenty of hits, including three that bear the same titles as BTG’s slots. Outlaw is the latest such game, which we’ll cover in the following review.

Gameplay

This game features 6 reels and up to 117,649 ways, with each reel containing between 2 and 7 symbols. You’ll benefit from all 117,649 ways when every reel holds 7 symbols. Winning combos form when 3+ matching symbols land in adjacent reels, starting with the leftmost reel.

Moving to the atmosphere, Outlaw’s base game happens in a desert with buttes in the background. Upon triggering the bonus, you’ll head inside of a western saloon while the Outlaw song fires up. That said, you get a nice mixture of rock and the Wild West.

Final Verdict on Outlaw Slot

Outlaw caps off what has been a pretty successful series for BTG. It offers many of the same elements that made Lil’ Devil and Wild Flower popular, including similar features. This is another highly volatile and potentially lucrative slot in The Cult series.

The Wild Outlaw and Wild Sheriff symbols help keep the base game interesting. However, the action really kicks off when you trigger or buy free spins. Both Dizzy in the Head and Fallen Angel Free Spins can deliver massive payouts under perfect circumstances.
