Miss Wildfire is a six-reel slot that offers 466 ways to win. According to developer Elk Studios, this game revolves around alchemist Edgar Woodard—a man who spent his life trying to create gold, only to lament on decades wasted. Reflecting on his past, he stares into the fire and invents a friend named Miss Wildfire.

The theme is no doubt interesting and unique. We’ll discuss if Miss Wildfire slot offers any other fresh elements in the following review.

Gameplay and Atmosphere

This slot provides 466 ways across a 6x4 grid. It delivers wins when matching symbols appear in adjacent reels, beginning with the first reel.

For as much backstory as Elk Studios put into this game, they don’t offer a great look at Woodard’s laboratory. You’ll see a staircase to the right of the reels and what looks like rocks on the left-hand side.

The symbols and reels dominate most of the screen. The oversized symbols make it difficult to see through the transparent reels.

As usual, Elk has done a solid job with the graphics. Each cartoonish symbol offers plenty of detail and color. We only wish that the developer allowed more of the background to shine through.

Low-paying symbols include royals (A-10) that are etched on stones and a log. High pays consist of a flower, blue prism, cube, and red gem.

The red gem pays the most among this group at 10x your stake for six symbols. You can win up to a maximum of 5,000x your stake when including features.

A flaming “W” serves as the wild symbol. It fills in for regular pays to help complete winning combinations. It also plays an important role in the Wildfire feature (covered later).

The special Miss Wildfire symbol—another wild—also spreads fire to nearby logs. Additionally, she offers respins and moves one reel to the left following each respin. The respins continue until Miss Wildfire exits the grid.

Super Miss Wildfire

The Super Miss Wildfire feature performs all of the functions as described above. The extra twist is that all non-flaming logs remain sticky during respins. Therefore, you don’t need to worry if additional logs will land as Miss Wildfire travels across the reels.

They may not have their spreading wilds operate exactly like Miss Wildfire, but these games do produce the same general effect.
