Mystery Museum is a five-reel, 10-line slot from Push Gaming. It revolves around a mysterious museum that’s full of ancient artifacts.
This slot represents Push Gaming’s first release of 2020. We’ll discuss whether the wait is worth it in this Mystery Museum review.
Mystery Museum features five reels and 10 paylines. You form wins by landing three or more matching symbols in a line. All winning combinations must start in the first reel and move from left to right.
This slot has a basic gameplay model on the surface. But as we’ll cover later, it boasts plenty of features that add depth.
The background offers a dark museum wall with various statues and artifacts lying around. A glimmer of light shines down on the items, which include everything from masks to idols.
Push Gaming creates the impression that you’ve stumbled upon a long-forgotten museum. They’ve done a solid job with the atmosphere in this game.
Unlike most slots, Mystery Museum doesn’t feature any royals. Instead, all of its symbols are completely unique.
Low-paying icons consist of a variety of runestones. High-paying icons include coins, the Eye or Ra, a helmet, shield, jug, King Tut mask, and samurai mask.
King Tut pays the most among this group at 500x your stake for five symbols. You can earn up to 17,500x your bet when accounting for features.
The samurai mask acts as both a wild and scatter symbol. It substitutes for all other symbols to help form winning combinations.
The betting range runs from €0.10 to €100. You can use autoplay to keep the reels spinning with your chosen bet size.
The Mystery Museum RTP is 96.58% by default. However, you can raise RTP to 97.04% by using the Power Gamble option (covered later).
You can land Mystery Stacks in any position on the reels. Mystery Stacks don’t always take up an entire reel when they land.
If 3 or more stacks land, though, they all nudge to cover entire reels. Additionally, the Mystery Stacks convert into a random regular symbol to allow for bigger wins.
These stacks offer payouts on all 10 lines, regardless of if they’re adjacent to each other. Therefore, they work somewhat like scatter symbols.
The samurai mask—the real scatter symbol-triggers free spins when landing at least three times anywhere on the reels. You trigger 8, 10, or 12 free spins when landing three, four, or five scatters, respectively.
Power Gamble gives you the option to gamble or collect wins. Assuming you select Power Gamble, you choose one or more of the four face-down cards.
You can determine your odds of winning and subsequent rewards by selecting up to three of the cards. Your goal is to choose cards with ticks rather than an “X.” The X takes your prize away and ends the round.
If you win 100x your stake or more during Power Gamble, you can trade winnings for free spins. Assuming you win 175x your stake, for example, you can trade 100x for free games and bank the remaining 75x.
Push Gaming has a history of successful releases that includes Joker Troupe, Razor Shark, The Shadow Order, and Jamming Jars. Mystery Museum could very well continue in this tradition of success.
It offers solid graphics, an adequate number of features, and big win potential. The latter is most attractive if you’re somebody who loves risking everything for huge prizes.
On the flipside, you also need to be wary of your bankroll. Power Gamble provides the chance to go for bigger wins, but it also forces you to risk guaranteed bonus winnings.
As long as you’re fine with the high volatility, then you should appreciate Mystery Museum slot. This game offers pretty much everything that you could want in terms of big wins and thrills.
