Developed by Elk Studios, Dreamzone is a 5x5 grid slot with cluster pays. It’s one of many online slots to focus on gems floating around in outer space.

Dreamzone’s theme is far from the most original that we’ve seen. NetEnt’s Starburst set the standard for the numerous space/gem-themed games years ago. We’ll discuss if Dreamzone slot offers any qualities that actually make it stand out.

Gameplay and Atmosphere

This game features a 5x5 grid that sees wins form in clusters. You only need to land three matching symbols in a horizontal or vertical cluster. Most grid slots require you to get 4-5 matching icons in a cluster, which makes Dreamzone unique in this regard.

Cascading reels cause symbols from winning combinations to disappear. Icons from above fall into their places and give you the chance to collect more wins in each round.

Elk Studios is one of the industry’s best when it comes to designing slots with excellent graphics and animations. However, Dreamzone falls short in this department.

Final Thoughts on Dreamzone Slot

Dreamzone is a decent game that offers some attractive features. The cascading reels, Dream Features, and Bonus Drops give you plenty of paths towards winning.

Unfortunately, none of these features lead to massive wins. You can only look forward to an uninspiring 2,500x maximum payout.

The atmosphere and graphics create what feels like Tron meets a poor man’s Starburst. If you’ve played the latter, you won’t get excited by Dreamzone’s visual appearance.

Even with the downsides, you still might find this slot entertaining for anywhere from 30-60 minutes. However, you most likely won’t fall in love with it.
