Dream Diver is a 5-reel, 178-payline slot game from ELK that explores the strange dream world. We’ve all had some weird dreams that we really can’t explain.

Gameplay and Atmosphere

The oddities begin with 178 paylines spread across a 5x3 grid. ELK likely picked 178 because this “angel number” signifies that positive thoughts will translate into financial wealth.

Winning combinations form in a basic manner when 3+ matching symbols land in paylines. All wins must start in the first reel and travel left to right.

This game takes place in a dark bedroom. An older man sleeps in his bed while cuddling a cat on the left-hand side.

He’s the star of this game and the one who’s experiencing the strange dreams. Meanwhile, a “Love Peace” sign, fish trophy, and picture of pears is on the right-hand side.

Trigger the Pick ‘n’ Click Bonus (covered later), and you’ll head to strange lands that feature bats, rocket ships, and rainbows. The old man stands with his back to the screen during this bonus round.

Dream Driver also offers unique bonuses. The Pick ‘n’ Click round is quite detailed and different from other ELK Studios bonuses.

The win potential is also different—although not in a great way. Dream Diver’s 2,500x max win is down from the 5,000x average in most of this developer’s slots.

Final Thoughts

Dream Diver doesn’t offer the big win potential of, say, Nitropolis 2, which pays up to 10,000x the stake. However, it’s still an enjoyable slot with entertaining gameplay.
