Play’n GO has a fascination with King Arthur and The Canterbury Tales. They’ve already released games about the Arthurian stories, including The Green Knight, Lord Merlin and the Lady of the Lake, and The Sword and the Grail.

They’re going back to this well again with the release of Diamonds of the Realm. If you’ve played Green Knight and/or Sword and the Grail, you’ll notice that this game is very similar.

Diamonds of the Realm comes with an interesting backstory. Morgan le Fay and Mordred have cast darkness over Camelot by stealing powerful diamonds. You, as the player, need to reclaim these diamonds and restore peace to the land.

The background shows a rather grim view of Camelot, with smoke and fog rising above the castle walls. We imagine this is the doing of Mordred and Morgan. The backdrop reminds us of Elk Studios’ Crusader.

Low-paying symbols consist of medieval royals ranging from A through J. High pays include Quin Guinevere, Mordred, Morgan, and King Arthur.
