The background showcases a blurry battle scene that’s complete with fire, banners, and a castle. This blurry background puts emphasis on the reels, where a number of well-designed symbols land.

XNudge & Wild Multiplier

The xNudge feature kicks in whenever a geisha must nudge. Every spot that the Wild Geisha nudges increases a win multiplier by +1. If the Wild Geisha must nudge 2 spaces to fill reel 3, for example, then the win multiplier moves up +2.

Oni Transform

When scatters land on the same spin as stacked warriors, they’ll trigger the Oni Transform feature. The latter causes scatters and lower-paying warriors to transform into the highest-paying warrior symbol on the reels.

Shogun Spins

You trigger Shogun Spins when landing 3+ scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. The default amount is 8 free spins, but you’ll receive +1 free game for each additional triggering scatter (e.g. 5 scatters = 10 spins). Every Shogun Spin sees at least one wild symbol land on reels 2 through 5.

Geisha Spins

If 3+ scatters and a Wild Geisha land simultaneously, then you’ll trigger 8 Geisha Spins. When a Geisha Wild nudges during the bonus, its win multiplier increases by an increment worth up to 4x. For example, two nudges could deliver a multiplier boost worth up to 8x.

A Geisha Wild remains sticky for the entire bonus. Each regular wild that lands on reels 2, 3, or 5 will deliver +1 free spin.

Assuming you trigger Shogun Spins, you can upgrade them to Geisha Spins at any time. You just need to get an additional 3+ scatters and a Geisha Wild simultaneously. If the geisha has already landed and is sticky, then this task becomes much easier.

Similar Slots to Bushido Ways

Bushido has a lot in common with other recent Nolimit City slots. Its combination of xNudges, win multipliers, and extra ways are reminiscent of Warrior Graveyard and San Quentin. The latter even uses a feature called Razor Splits to split positions in half, similar to how Bushido uses Sliced Wilds.

In terms of atmosphere, Bushido feels sort of like Warrior Graveyard. The latter has a fiery background during the bonus round.

Final Thoughts

Bushido is another high-quality slot from Nolimit City. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel when compared to some of Nolimit’s other recent releases. This game does, however, provide more than enough reasons to try it.
