The Grand Galore is a six-reel slot that starts with a default 6x4 grid. Payouts form when matching symbols land in adjacent reels, starting with the first reel and moving left to right.
You begin with 4,096 ways based on the default 6x4 setup. However, you can increase the number of rows/ways (covered later) through wins.
The current number of winning possibilities are displayed at the top of the reels. If all six reels reach 10 rows, then you’ll enjoy 1 million ways to win (10x10x10x10x10x10).
This game takes you into a grand room that features a sparking red ceiling and disco lights. We’re not really sure what this room is supposed to be (a theater maybe?).
ELK Studios offers a pretty basic atmosphere with this game. The background and symbols feature solid graphics. However, it feels as if ELK mainly focused on the Megaways engine while rushing through the setting.
All symbols in The Grand Galore are meant to inspire feelings of wealth and exuberance in the Art Deco period.
Low pays include royals (A through 10) that reflect the time period. High-paying symbols consist of various jewels, including a diamond, emerald, ruby, sapphire, and golden lion that’s studded with rubies.
The maximum win is worth 10,000x your stake. While 10,000x is definitely an above-average max payout, we were expecting more due to the potential 1 million ways.
You can wager between €0.20 and €100 per round in this slot. The Grand Galore RTP is 96%, which is averaged compared to other online slots.
Volatility lies in the high range due to the 1,000,000 ways, several features, and maximum payout worth 10,000x your stake. You should pick up plenty of small wins in this game, but larger payouts will likely escape you for a while.
The Grand Galore certainly has no shortage of features. You can look forward to multiple types of respins, expanding reels, and a bonus round.
Following every win, all reels that contribute to the payout will expand one row. The winning symbols and expanded rows then respin.
This process continues until you’re unable to land any more wins. Each reel can grow up to a maximum of 10 rows.

The Grand Galore isn’t the best game that we’ve seen in terms of atmosphere. Although the graphics are good, we can’t quite tell where this slot is taking place.
Other than this downside, though, Grand Galore is a quality game that really shines in terms of features. Everything begins with the expanding reels, where each reel involved in a win grows by one row. If the entire grid tops out at 10 rows, then you’ll be taking advantage of the aforementioned 1 million ways.
This game also boasts Stacked Respins, Synched Respins, Grand Synched Respins, and free spins. The features are a little heavy on respins, but they also produce lots of action in each round.
