Net Gains is the third slot in a series collaboration by Relax Gaming and the CasinoGrounds streaming community. This game has 4,096 ways going across a 6x4 grid. It delivers wins when you get 3+ matching symbols in adjacent reels. All winning combinations have to start in reel 1 and move right (e.g., reels 1, 2, 3, 4).
Net Gains takes the Beast Mode crew—including a lion, shark, rhino, and crocodile—out on the high seas. Its atmosphere and graphics are unique from other recent fishing slots, such as Bigger Bass Bonanza. The theme of catching fish for profits is interesting, as opposed to just angling for entertainment.
Regular symbols include five royals (A-10), a crab, lion, octopus, rum bottle, and treasure chest. The lion pays the most among this group at 25x the stake for six matching symbols. You can win up to a maximum of 15,000x your stake.
Shark wilds appear on reels 2 through 6 only. They perform the basic wild function of substituting for other symbols to help create winning combinations.
The standard Net Gains RTP is 96.10%, and it rises to 96.50% through the bonus buy option. You can wager between €0.10 and €60 per spin. This game also offers a Special Bet, which requires 20% more on the stake. In return, it boosts your odds of triggering free spins by 82%. Relax Gaming rates the volatility at 5/5, which is in line with most of their online slots.
This slot features cascading reels, mystery symbols, and four sets of free spins. With the latter, you get to choose your free spins and accompanying modifiers.
Winning symbols vanish from the grid and create open spaces. Symbols from above fall into these vacant spots and provide more chances to win. Cascading reels keep coming as long as wins continue forming.

In terms of style, Net Gains feels similar to the aforementioned Iron Bank and Beast Mode. The graphics, tone, and atmosphere of all three slots are closely related. Beast Mode is especially like Net Gains due to the same characters in both slots.
For some reason, Relax Gaming has been reducing win potential with this series. Iron Bank has a 49,999x maximum win, Beast Mode pays up to 25,000x, and Net Gains offers 15,000x max. Nevertheless, most players won’t be disappointed with the 15k maximum payout.
This game does a nice job of offering multiple features without being overly complex. The three mystery symbols in the base game provide a primer for Sticky Mystery Free Spins. Sticky Wilds Free Spins don’t present much complexity. You should be able to figure out Coin Collection Free Spins without much hassle as well.
All of these features combine to deliver win potential worth up to 15,000x. They also keep the action moving so that there are few dull moments. We especially like how you get to select your favorite set of free spins.
If there’s a downside here, it’s that Net Gains simply is not its predecessor, Beast Mode. The latter has been one of the biggest hits of 2022. Net Gains is no doubt a quality slot, but it just doesn’t have the same star power.
