According to Quickspin, the goal is to trek through the rainforest and plunder the Aztec’s Twin Temple. Azticons features a grid with 7 columns, each of which hold between 5 and 9 symbols. The board can hold a minimum of 35 symbols (5x7) and a maximum of 63 (9x7).
Wins form when 5+ symbols are at least partially touching (a.k.a. Chaos Clusters). Most slots, in contrast, require winning cluster symbols to fully touch each other. Of course, the latter isn’t always possible given that each Azticons column can hold different symbol amounts.
As for the atmosphere, this game takes place at the base of the aforementioned Twin Temple. You’ll see two Aztec statues, jungle shrubbery, and a large temple in the background. The same scene is present during the bonus, only it takes place at night.
Standard symbols include six gemstones and five Aztec masks. The gold mask pays the most in this group at 5,000x your stake for a 20+ cluster. You can win up to 25,000x the stake when factoring in features.
A “W” serves as the wild symbol and substitutes for other icons to complete winning combinations. It doesn’t offer any payouts on its own.
