Cool Jewels is an upcoming video slot, which has been developed by WMS Interactive. Jewel-themed video slots are all the rage at the moment, so this one does have a lot of potential. As you may have guessed from the title, there is certain icy-element to this game.
WMS software are always creating something new and original. In the case of Cool Jewels, that new and original is the Exploding Pays system, which has been worked into the design of the title. This new slot will also feature wilds, and plenty of them. Its most distinguishing feature though, is the surplus of symbols that appear on the reels.
Cool Jewels is unlike many other video slots. The game is played over 6 reels, and there are no specific paylines available for you to wager on. The exact wagering limits and levels in the game are not yet known, although given that it is a WMS Gaming title, do not expect to be able to wager too cheaply. The good news is that six icons appear on each reel, in a 6X6 layout, which can see players win up to 2,500 coins. Players will win when they have groups of 4 or more matching icons.
If two of the same wild icons appear horizontally next to one another, then they will become locked. This locked wild remains locked until it reaches the bottom row of the game. Should two different wild icons appear next to one another horizontally on the reels, they will combine, providing the player with a sizeable multiplier for their winnings. We can also see that Cool Jewels has a free spins icon, as well as a free spins metre on the right hand side of the reels. It would be fair to assume that like most WMS Gaming developed video slots, players needs to accumulate three or more free spins icons, to trigger this free spins bonus.
We expect this video slot to explode at online casinos in mid October. The slot will present players will a little something new, as it is a mix between the popular Bejewelled and Candy Crush social gaming formats, and the tried and tested video slot structure.
