Cluster Tumble is an 8x8 grid slot that takes you on a treasure hunt in a long, lost city. Developed by Relax Gaming, it includes an adventurer who’s similar to Play’n GO’s Cat Wilde character. The only difference is that Relax’s female hero has an arm-sleeve tattoo.

Gameplay and Atmosphere

The 8x8 grid leaves open the possibility of 64 positions. At the beginning of a round, though, only 15 positions are available. The rest are comprised of stone blocker tiles.

You must form winning clusters with at least 4+ matching symbols to remove the blockers. Clusters of matching symbols can go either horizontally, vertically, or both.

Winning clusters destroy the blocker tiles and open up more positions. As part of the tumbling reels system, new icons fall from above to occupy the vacant spaces. Tumbling reels continue until no more payouts are possible, at which point a new round begins.

As for the atmosphere, Cluster Tumble takes place in an ancient city. The grid is flanked by two columns that feature golden faces.

Two large stone buildings sit on both sides of the reels. Some space exists between the buildings and grid, suggesting that you’re in an elevated position.

We applaud Relax Gaming for creating an unusual setting for this treasure hunt. Most of these games take place in a tomb or catacombs.

Symbols include three low-paying crystals that are blue, green, and red. Higher pays consist of a dragon mask and scarab.

The biggest payouts for each symbol have 40+ matching symbols. Of these, the dragon pays the most for 40+ icons at 2,000x your stake.

This game also has a wild symbol that comes with 5 lives. One life disappears whenever a symbol is used in a winning combination.

Final Thoughts on Cluster Tumble Slot

Thanks to the tile modifiers and tumbling reels, this game can deliver lots of wins in a given round. These multi-win rounds don’t always result in big payouts, but they’re exciting, nonetheless.
