The storyline of this futuristic game is unique enough for an online slot. It only gets more interesting when considering that Reapers has a true video game vibe. You can see how this combination plays out in the following slot review.
Reapers has an 8x8 grid and delivers cluster payouts. The normal path towards a win involves getting 5+ symbols in a matching cluster. However, you can also net payouts when a Reaper collects 4 matching symbols. Keep in mind that the grid has blocker tiles, which make connecting clusters more difficult.
The atmosphere and storyline are the biggest treats to Reapers. Again, Print Studios has made this slot feel like a video game. Reapers features cutscenes, game-type sound effects, and action sequences. Visually, it’s on par with a PlayStation 3 game.
This game only has five paying symbols, which are all alien critters. The highest-paying critter delivers 500x the stake for a cluster of 25+ icons. You can win up to 20,000x the stake through features. This game has a variety of special symbols that we’ll cover under “Features.”

You need to shut down 15 barriers to unlock the bonus. The Barriers come in sequential groups of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Every barrier features an 8x8 slots grid with blockers. Your goal is to shut down (explained later) 15 barriers until triggering a bonus.
A Reaper symbol always lands adjacent to a winning cluster. Following the payout, the Reaper causes all symbols within the cluster to become Energy Cells.
Reapers receive a charge whenever 5 Energy Cells are collected. A Charge’s function is to shut down the aforementioned barriers. You’ll need more charges to close barriers as you advance towards the last few groups.
Reaper Abilities & Power Core Symbols This game collects Power Core symbols that land next to Reapers. Power Cores eventually unlock a special ability for a given Reaper, including the following:
Again, you’ll unlock the bonus after shutting down 15 barriers. The bonus round features 5 levels, each of which holds 75 grids. You advance a level by gathering Energy Cells as follows:
Every level increase causes one critter to vanish from the board. The start of a level also features a 4x4 Juggernaut Reaper, who moves through a tunnel on the grids.

Reapers’ futuristic side makes it semi-comparable to other sci-fi online slots. Endorphina’s Rise of AI and Nitropolis 3 are a couple that come to mind. Overall, though, this is a very unique slot that’s difficult to compare with other games.
