Dead or Alive 2 slot is finally here
Dead or Alive is one of the biggest slots hits in NetEnt history. This is saying a lot, because NetEnt has churned out a number of major hits over the years.
The only problem with Dead or Alive (DOA), though, is that it’s quite dated in comparison to modern slots. It was released in May 2009 and has more of a classic online slot feel today.
NetEnt is ready to shake things up again, though, by announcing the upcoming release of Dead or Alive 2. Details are scarce on the impeding sequel. But we’ll do our best to fill you in on what to expect in this early preview.
Dead or Alive 2 Release Date
NetEnt has announced that April 24, 2019 will be the release date for Dead or Alive 2 slot. This means we have to wait approximately two and a half months before experiencing the second installment.
Of course, we’ve waited almost 10 years for the DOA sequel. Another two and a half months shouldn’t be that big of a deal.
What to Expect from Dead or Alive 2 Slot
Unfortunately, NetEnt hasn’t released any screenshots or major details on DOA 2. They’ve simply stated that “the DNA of Dead or Alive has been transferred to its sibling. But of course with thrilling upgrades and twists.”
We take this to mean that Dead or Alive 2 will recreate the same Wild West theme of the original. However, it’ll also offer upgraded features and possibly more storyline elements.
The original has become famous for delivering massive wins worth up to 5,000x and 10,000x. It also features high return to player (RTP) at 96.5%.
Not much should change in these departments. We still expect big wins and high RTP when DOA 2 is launched. The biggest thing to watch out for includes what potential features will be available.
Will Dead or Alive 2 Live Up to Expectations?
NetEnt has a long history of delivering on the hype. They’ve had plenty of time to work on DOA 2, which means we can probably look forward to another great slot.
Of course, high expectations always leave the chance of disappointment when a sequel isn’t perfect. Therefore, it’ll be interesting to see how DOA 2 is received when it’s released on April 24. We’ll keep you updated as soon as NetEnt releases a preview video and/or screenshots.
